Custom Tooling FAQ
What types of custom tooling do you make?
We manufacture custom arbors, chuck adapters, wire guides, holding fixtures, and specialized tooling for any bobbin or coil form. If it helps you wind coils more effectively, we can build it.
How long does custom tooling take?
Most custom tooling projects are completed within 1-2 weeks. Complex fixtures or multi-piece sets may take slightly longer. We'll provide exact timelines in your quote.
What information do you need to provide a quote?
Ideally, we need a drawing or sample of your bobbin/coil form with dimensions. Photos with a ruler for scale work too. The more information you can provide about your application, the better we can design the solution.
Can I order tooling for machines I didn't buy from you?
We primarily design tooling for Adams-Maxwell machines. If you have a machine from another manufacturer, contact us to discuss—we may be able to help depending on the configuration.
